Tiger's nest ...the Taktsang Monsatrey ,Paro in Bhutan has very unique architecture on a cliff side and still making a presence from 1000 of years.
This a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and temple complex and is located 10 kilometers to the north of Paro and hangs on a precipitous cliff at 3,120 meters (10,240 ft). Can you imagine a hanging structure at this much height from 1000 of years is still standing.
To arrive at the temple, visitors must trek for around 2-3 hours through beautiful, shady pine forests
It was first built in 1692 at a cave where Guru Rimpoche meditated in the 7th century A.D. Legend has it that Guru Rimpoche flew to the site atop the back of a tigress and meditated in the cave for a significant duration in order to subdue the evil demons, inflicting harm upon residents in the region.
This is must visit place in Bhutan ....enjoy traveling
